This is our story in starting our very own family through international adoption. We will be adopting an infant (or two) from Kazakhstan. Hopefuly we will be traveling this spring to meet and bring home our little one(s). We hope that by reading our story you are able to follow our journey and learn about the process of adoption.
I just recived news from the agency that our visas are being processed and that they will be in Seattle tomrrow or Thursday. Looks like I wil be moving our plane tickets up. Oh well we knew there would be changes along the way. Now I just need to find some open flights.

I was a naturalist leading science field schools. I was a paleontologist, then an education specialist for the National Park Service. Then, for a decade I was a sciene teacher. Now, I am on to a new transition. Each of my past chapters in life have been forced due to having rheumatoid arthritst, which is a degenerative autoimune disorder. I am not sure what my next chaper in life holds.

Enjoy your peace and quite. It is great that you got out of school this week everything is tense with the breakin and all the stolen computers and harddrives. I wanted to make sure you have my home email. cbatease@yahoo.com so I can keep the kids updated. Just relax this constant rearranging is just part of parenthood you will have wrapp your linear mind around Karon. Have a great safe trip let me know of any extra help you need see you soon with baby or babies in tow.
