The Decker's Adoption Journey

This is our story in starting our very own family through international adoption. We will be adopting an infant (or two) from Kazakhstan. Hopefuly we will be traveling this spring to meet and bring home our little one(s). We hope that by reading our story you are able to follow our journey and learn about the process of adoption.

Planning for the Nursery

John and I actualy sat down today and attempted to plan out the nusery. I think we are just going to need to have some of the furniture down stairs and start playing around with the lay out. It is so difficult to figure out what we need since we don't know specific ages and whether there will be one or two children. All in good time we will figure these things out. Not much new to report. We will be going to Portland on Wednesday to do our USCIS paperwork and to start getting the rest of the dossier translated. This at least feels like progress, kind of like branching into the second tri-mester of adoption:)
